Note: prob marr 3rdly; about 1771; Tabitha King, dau of John King
Note: son, William did not get land; called G-line
Note: 5 dau's, per will order, are called L-P lines
Note:It is not likely that Reliance was mother of all of William's children as prior researchers have thought.. She likely was the mother of the older sons up to James,b 1739. Almost certainly she was not mother of youngest dau, Reliance. She could be the mother of some of dau's as their year of birth is uncertain. The time and place of her death is not known. The tombstone(see findagrave.com) in the Presbyterian Ch. cem(not found) of Woodbridge is a modern placement There is no evidence she was buried there.
1726 Midd/NJ Elizabeth Denne(dennis) was a witness at the apprenticeship of James Parker; his mother, Jana Pain(payn) also; signed Jan 1
Jul 1 2016- New evidence has been accesed that indicates the possibility that William marr Elizabeth Dennis the younger sister of Reliance. If so then the naming of his seventh son is more understandable. This marr would have occured in Woodbridge after vitals were no longer being recorded(1708).
I had previously(2012) suggested that Ruth Pike could have been his 2nd wife. This has not been proven and seems unlikely.

1774 Bute/NC Named in her father's will; inherited 150a land S of brother Elisha.
1801 Warr/NC DB 18 p191 her brother, Dennis, sold her land to Wm Williams.
If she was born between 1744-1747 she could be dau and namesake of William's second wife. She does not seem to have married as her brother, Dennis sold her land probably after her death. Dennis was a local constable at time so may have been sold for taxes.
